Nuts & Bolts
How THE LEGACY VIDEO Works
PART 1: Pre-Production
After a family chooses to share their story, a pre-interview is arranged by phone. This allows our Legacy Specialist to connect with the family in a relaxed setting before the main interview, and it’s a great opportunity for participants to gather stories, dates, and photos for their documentary.
PART 2: Production
On a scheduled date and at a designated location, our Emmy-winning team will set-up our cameras, lighting, and audio gear to conduct an interview with the family. This experience feels more like a conversation among friends rather than a formal Q&A. The Legacy Video Crew excels in not only posing the right questions but also eliciting deeper responses through thoughtful follow-ups.
PART 3: Post-Production
Two months after collecting all the families' photos, home movies, and interviews, they will receive a fully edited, feature-length documentary. The final product will be available on an external drive for personal use along with a password-protected clickable link for easy sharing.
